ASHOK Gosain
Founder and Chairman
With over 40 years of experience in the electrical industry, Ashok has been instrumental in taking the MEC Group to new heights. He has astutely introduced product lines, service verticals and increased distribution. At MEC, Ashok is responsible for planning and defining the strategy of the group’s various business units. He mirrors the values of the organization with professionalism, entrepreneurial mindset and a passionate commitment to grow the interests of all stakeholders.
Prior to founding the MEC Group, Ashok worked with Batliboi, one of India’s oldest engineering companies. He has earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Technology, Patiala.
BHUVAN Gosain
Director, Strategy and Customer Relations
Bhuvan comes from a strong technical and management background with degrees in B. Tech and MBA. Coupled with his industry expertise across Real estate, IT/ITES, and consumer goods sectors, he serves as the bedrock of the group’s automation and distribution businesses. He has 10+ years of experience in sales, business operations, strategy and design.
Prior to joining the MEC Group, Bhuvan worked as the head of business operations for Vinculum Solutions at their Hong Kong office. He has also worked with Moser Baer India, Cadence Design Systems and Havells India. At the MEC Group, he has built the automation and A/V business from scratch and continues to scale it forward.
HIMANKI Garg
Head, HR and Marketing
With a 10-year experience in sales, marketing and facilities management, Himanki primarily looks after the retail business for the MEC Group. She is also an exceptional relationship manager – her high energy and results driven approach enables her to lead a diverse cross-functional team to deliver quality customer care.
Himanki has previously worked with BELITA as a strategic business manager. She also has working experience with Vinculum Solutions and Hindustan Construction Company. Himanki is a master in Business Administration from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai. She also earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from International College for Girls, Jaipur.
DIVYA Gosain
Head, Business and Technology
With more than 12 years of experience in technology and financial services, Divya brings her product management and business operations expertise to the team. Digital disruptions, primarily in home automation and financial technology, are her focus areas of interest.
Divya has previously worked with Topxight Research Labs (a start-up incubator), Cognizant Business Consulting (Capital Markets) and J.P. Morgan Investment Banking (NA Energy). She is an MBA (Finance) from Management Development Institute and a Manufacturing and Automation Engineer from Delhi University.
PRADEEP Jain
Head, Finance
Pradeep joined the MEC Group in its early days and is responsible for the accounting and finance operations of the group companies. He is responsible for providing timely and accurate accounting data to the leadership and project teams for proper auditing, operational and financial controls. With a strong background in handling tax compliance and regulations, Pradeep ensures controls are met as per the requirements and procedures.
Pradeep has over 30 years’ experience in project management and operations financing. He also oversees vendor management and manages third party consultants and contractors.
